Rusty Roadrash

Rusty Roadrash was a competitor in Auto Games from 1966 to 1972. He won a medal in every year he competed. He represented Roadland.

He started off as a RSCS racer from 1964 to 1965. He won in 1964.

Auto Games

Rusty was off to a great start, winning either gold or silver in every event he was in, representing Roadland because he was half Roadlandian. He was almost as good the next year, although he wasn't as consistent. The next year he still got medals, but only 1 was gold. The next year was a repeat of the previous. Then in 1970, he had a repeat of his nearly perfect 1966 appearance. In 1971 it was a repeat of 1968. Then in 1972 he suffered an enormous crash in the sports car track.

Death

He was participating in the Sports Car Track event representing Roadland. At the start, he rocketed ahead of the pack, which 

Aftermath

included future legends RaSun Shorttail and Gab Saturn (father of Justin and Xavier). With only 1 lap to go, he suddenly swerved unexplainably and ended up in the grass, where he hit a mound and was flipped several times before landing on his wheels completely destroyed. He died just 2 days later during the night. 

About 5 thousand cars attended his funeral.

Family

Rusty had a wife named Carletta who, just a year before Rusty's death had twins: Roger and Roary. Carletta died from self inflicted wounds after injuring herself as she could not get over Rusty's death. That happened a month after Rusty's fatal crash.

Roary would die from a crash in almost the same way Rusty died, with the area he crashed in and what he hit being the exact same area and the same mound Rusty was killed by.
